Technique Hop - "Accents of White"

Today, I have a tag to share with you.  I am loving our new Gelly Roll pens and using them to add details and doodles to projects.  

I used the gel pen to add snow to the trees I stamped in Rosemary ink with the Holiday Special stamp set.  I also added dots of snow to the sky which was blended using Harbour ink on Glacier cardstock.

I have also created this process video to show you how I created it as well.

Supplies Used:

- Glacier cardstock

- Tags & Tabs Thin Cut set

- Harbour ink pad

- Rosemary ink pad

- Archival Black ink pad

- Mini Ink Blending Tool

- All-Purpose mat

- 10 Gelly Roll white gel pen

- scissors

- white & gold ribbon (retired)

December SOTM - Owl Love You Forever Blog Hop

 This month we have around 10 Close To My Heart Makers/Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. 

I have been having fun creating tags lately and so I decided to use this stamp set to make a shaker tag.

I used a tag from the Buildable Tags Thin Cut set as the base.

I stamped in Intense Black ink and then used Tri-Blend markers to colour with.  (Gold Brown, Antique Pink, Jade Green, Orange and Light Yellow)  I inked the edges with the black ink pad and added doodle lines with the .01 black journaling pen.

I added sponging with Ballerina ink to the base tag for the belly.  I trimmed out the belly of the owl with my craft knife, added acetate & foam tape, then filled with bitty beads and silver star confetti.  The gold splatters were created with the Gilt Gloss Spray.
