Pocket Card Perfection

Good Morning Everyone!

I just wanted to pop on here and share with you the new, limited time Pocket Card Perfection special.

Close to My Heart just released Picture My Life (PML) cards or pocket cards that co-ordinate with the Lovely & Party Time paper collections from the Core Catalog.  These are available until the end of March.

You can purchase them individually or get both as a discounted bundle.

These pocket cards can be used for so many things.  If you are a pocket scrapbooker then just slip them into your page protectors and add your photos & journaling.  If you are a cardmaker these are great for popping on a card.  If you are a traditional scrapbooker these are great to use as titles, journaling spots and extra papers.  You can fussy cut out some of the elements.  Really the sky is the limit.

Here is a closer look at the pocket cards and co-ordinating paper collections.

Then we have the Pocket Card Perfection Bundle which contains both sets of Picture My Life Cards:

If you have any questions please let me know.  You can see our whole line of pocket scrapbooking products HERE.

Have a creative day!

Bring Back My Pack - Blossom Blog Hop

Welcome to the Bring Back My Pack - Blossom Blog Hop.  We are excited to have you join us today and hope that our projects inspire you to create with this fun and updated collection.

If you arrived here from Judy's Blog then you are in the right spot.  The blog hop is a big circle so you can start right here and hop all the way around.  If you get lost along the way you can find a list of all the blogs participating on Melinda's Blog.  We have about 16 Makers participating in this blog hop.

I created a couple of projects using the Blossom collection for you.

To start with I created this cute card using the Gnome Matter stamp set (still available online), Smoothie & Sage cardstock and distress oxide inks (Peacock Feathers, Abandoned Coral, Peeled Paint).  I also used Intense Black ink for the rest of the stamping.  I love how just the 0.25" strip of the zip strip from the Blossom paper pack just pops this card.

Next I created this layout using the Blossom Paper package and the Cherished Blossoms stamp & thin cut set that is part of the Blossom collection.

This was a fun layout to create.  As you can see I used the same zip strip as I used on the card on this layout as well as a couple of the patterned papers and some of the co-ordinating cardstock.  The title is stamped with Abandoned Coral and Peacock Feathers distress oxide ink, there is also some splatter with both those inks in the top left corner of the layout.  My flowers were stamped using Glacier, Smoothie, Nectarine, Peacock and Green Apple inks and the centers of the small ones are silver sequins.

This layout was inspired by this layout from the January/February idea book.

Well I hope you enjoyed what I had to share with you and I would love to know what you thought of my projects.

Next up is Miss Carrie's Creations and I know she has something amazing to show us.

Remember that the Blossom collection is only available until February 28th.  If you are in Canada and don't have a consultant I would be happy to help you.

Blessings,  Kim

February SOTM Blog Hop - Doodled Borders

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! I hope you will hop along with us and check out all of the amazing artwork created using the February SOTM, called Doodled Borders, it is a set of 36 stamps.

If you arrived here from Judy's Blog, then you are in the right spot.  The blog hop is a big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, Melinda's Blog has a complete list of all the participating consultants.

In Canada this set is $25.75.  Or with a qualifying order of $60 you can get it for $6.75 or if you are a VIP then you can get it free with your qualifying order.

This month we have around 23 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs.

Here is the card I created, isn't it just the cutest?  I used pattern 15 from the Make it from you Heart Vol 4 how to book.  These are a great resource to have.

Using the Doodled Borders set, I created the background textured paper.  I stamped tone on tone using sage, smoothie and blue belle cardstock & inks with 3 of the different stamps.  I also used Archival Black ink to stamp a couple of the other borders on the edge of the card and sentiment piece.

I used the Winter Penguin set to stamp the cute penguin with Intense Black ink and coloured the toque with Blue Belle shimmer brush and the pom-poms with Diamond Stickles.

The sentiment is from the exclusive VIP - We are Good Together stamp set. (If you aren't a VIP yet, I highly recommend it (a) because you will get 15% of what you spend back in VIP credit for a future order. (b) every month you can get a SOTM for free with a qualifying order (in Canada this is $60), (c) you can get exclusive VIP things like this. )

To embellish I used some black shimmer trim and the Blue Belle sequins

I hope you enjoyed this card and I would love to hear what you think of it.

Now "Hop" on over to Miss Carrie's Blog to see what she has created! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the February SOTM is only available until the 28 th!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!  If you are in Canada and don't have a consultant I would be happy to help you.
