September's Hearts of the West Blog Hop Featuring Nevermore

Welcome to the Hearts of the West team blog hop!

If this is your first time joining us you will love it. If you have been here before welcome back.  It features Close to my Heart Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The Hearts of the West team was founded by Nancy Klein.

This months challenge is using the Nevermore Paper Pack, brought to you from the brand new Holiday Expressions that is available today starting right now.  This paper is perfect for Halloween, masculine, grunge, vintage, artbooking, mixed media and even for Christmas.  (It is the Halloween paper but I have given it new life.)

If you came from Donna's Blog then you're in the right place, this is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case, the full list will be at the bottom. So, as always, grab your coffee, tea, water, relax, and hop around the team with us.

I would like to share with you 3 projects I made using the Nevermore Paper Pack.

Nevermore Paper Pack
Nevermore Assortment

Nevermore Complements

First up is a single page layout I created using the Nevermore paper pack, Whisper, Sunset and Thistle Exclusive Ink Pads, the Artiste Cricut Cartridge, White Daisy and Black cardstock, Grey Enamel Gems, Ink Blot stamp set, foam tape, and ShinHan Twin Touch Markers ( Marigold, Lavender, and Warm Grey).  I still need to add my photos, journalling and the title.  It was a lot of fun to create.  I used the markers to color the gears I cut out of white paper with the Artiste Cartridge.  If you look closely you will see that one of the grey papers in this paper pack has gears on it.

Next up is a Christmas Card using the Nevermore paper and the Brand new Artistry Cartridge.  It was my first time playing with it and I can already tell you I am in love with it.  I also used White Daisy cardstock, the White Daisy card base, Slate Exclusive Ink Pad, Lavender and Warm Grey ShinHan Twin Touch Markers, Liquid Glass, Foam tape, grey enamel gems and Range Rock Candy Glitter.

Artistry Cricut Collection.

Lastly, I created a card using the September Stamp of the Month Paper Garden.

For this card I used a White Daisy card base, White Daisy cardstock, Nevermore Paper Pack, Paper Garden stamp set, Artistry Cricut Collection (for the banner and sentiment stamp), Marvy Uchida LePen Journalling Pen, Thistle, Fern, Sunset, Black and Slate Exclusing ink pads.

In September with a $50 qualifying purchase you can purchase it for $6.  It can also be purchased for $21.25 for the month of September only.

I Have a Halloween Tag Class coming up September 28th using the Nevermore Paper Pack as well. This is a set we made at Convention in one of the creative sessions.  I would love to have you join me. Register by Sept 14th so I can order the products and prep the kits.

September is National Stamping Month, and this year Close To My Heart has something to help every kind of papercrafter say a big “hello!” to life! Available only during the month of September, these exclusive C-size My Acrylix® Hello, Life! stamp sets can be purchased for $16.50 each! Or, for an even better deal, you can purchase all three for only $41.50—a savings of $8! Each stamp set is designed to fit with a specific type of papercrafting, whether that’s traditional scrapbooking, cardmaking, or pocket scrapbooking. However, all the stamp sets coordinate with each other and can be used together to create dynamic artwork. These stamp sets also coordinate with shapes from the new Cricut® Artistry collection to help expand your artwork options even further. Remember, these stamp sets are available for one month only, so get your orders in for one stamp set—or all three—before these gorgeous stamps disappear! Make certain to follow Close To My Heart’s blog, Instagram, and Facebook page for artwork inspiration featuring these lively stamp sets all month long. You can post your own artwork to your social media channels using the hashtag ‪#‎ctmhHelloLife‬.

If you would like to join me for a fun filled weekend November 19-22, 2015 for my Kim's Scrappin Adventure Retreat please contact me. I have 3 spaces left.  I would love to have you and your friends join me.

I am starting up a hostess Scrapbook Club/Class beginning this month and have 2 spots left in it.  I need to know right away if you would like to join as I need to put in the order Sept 7th to prep the kits in time for the Sept 21 club night.  We will be using the Workshop on the Go kits and so will be doing 2 - 2 page layouts together.  There will be 5 people in the club for 10 months, each person will get to be the hostess twice in that time and earn the free Hostess Rewards (minimum of $25).  Your minimum order would be $35.50 (the Workshop on the Go kit) plus shipping and tax.  Call me at 780-634-2543 if you are interested in being a part of this club or would like more info.
